Reservations

All park facilities (picnic areas) are available to the public on a first-come-first-serve-basis all year-round. Rental of a park is not required, however, without a permit, the park area is open to the public. Permits (reservations) may be obtained for reservable areas to guarantee the availability of a picnic area (March to October only).

Bounce Houses

Bounce Houses are not allowed without a permit. List of approved Bounce House Companies (PDF) are available for download.

Parks are reservable March 1 to October 31; no reservations taken November 1 to February 28. Reservations are taken for Saturdays and Sundays only. Monday-Friday are first-come-first-serve, except for school use, company events, weddings, political gatherings, or any gathering that would otherwise require department approval or special permits. For availability, contact the Community Services Department at 530-661-2000.

Park Rental Fees (50 People or Less)

  • Non-Residents $80 per hour (two hour minimum)
  • Woodland Residents $40 per hour (two hour minimum)

Making a Reservation

All reservations are done in person at the Community Services Department, 2001 East Street, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Complete the Park Reservation Form (PDF) for public requesting use of any City parks and shade structures.

Special Event Form

Complete the Special Event Form (PDF) for public requesting use of City facilities, that is outside the normal use of the facility.
