Movies on Main Street in Downtown Woodland

Come to Historic Downtown Woodland on Friday, October 11 for Movies on Main Street hosted by the City of Woodland. Enjoy a family-friendly, free movie date in downtown Woodland. It’s a great night to bring the family out for special outdoor viewing of the animated movie Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

This free family friendly event is loaded with fun for everyone.  The event kicks off in Heritage Plaza at 5:30 pm with free activities including a bounce house and the video game trailer.  Spider-Man is scheduled to attend, be sure to get a picture with him before the movie starts! Rec2Go will be hosting a free kids’ zone with games and crafts to keep kids busy until show time. In addition, a free flu point of dispensing clinic will be available for anyone in attendance sponsored by Woodland Fire Department and provided by the Yolo County Department of Health & Human Services.

Shortly after sundown, the animated hit movie Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will be shown. Enjoy watching the movie on a giant 30-foot movie screen under the stars on Main Street, Woodland.

Don’t forget to bring a low-back chair, blanket or pillow to sit on the street. Be sure to arrive early to find the best spot on Main Street to watch the movie.  Las Brasas will be on hand selling tacos, in addition downtown businesses be open during the event selling food.  Popcorn, candy, snacks, and drinks will also be available for purchase in Heritage plaza.
