Pool Closure Dates March 1 & 2 - due to a swim meet

Get a jump on summer employment by getting the certification needed to be a certified lifeguard.  Participants should be able to swim 300 yards continuously and retrieve a ten-pound brick from seven foot deep water.  Participants should be prepared to be in the water, and bring warm clothes.  For more information about this course or summer employment, contact Brad Petersen. All classes are held at Charles Brooks Community Swim Center 155 N. West St. Registration is excepted at Parks & Recreation office 2001 East St.

Registration for this class begins February 1, 2013.

All class dates must be attended for certification.
