    Bring your toddlers to the library for our Very Ready Reader Storytime! There will be songs, rhymes, and fingerplays as well as stories to enjoy for 2-3 year olds. Join us for some fun early literacy activities!

  2. Brown Bag Book Club

    September 19, 2018, 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM @ Woodland Public Library

    Meetings are on the first and third Wednesday of each month from Noon until 1 p.m. in the Leake Center Conference Room at the library. The first Wednesday meeting is an informal discussion about books while the third Wednesday meeting is a discussion around a selected book. The book selected for the month of September is the Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon.

  3. Afterschool Program

    September 19, 2018, 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM @ Woodland Public Library

    Join us Monday through Thursday for our Afterschool Program, geared to kids aged 5-12. This program meets in the children's room from 3:30-4:30 (except crafts once a month are in Square One). Mondays: Mystery Monday - every week we have a new DIY project or activity out; Tuesdays: Board Game Day - play with our selection of board games; Wednesday: Arts and Crafts - create cool projects to take home; Thursdays: Lego Club - build with our Lego collection and display your creation in the Imaginarium.

  4. National Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration!

    Join us in this free, family-friendly celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month! We will have bilingual storytime & songs, traditional crafts & activities for children like making flores de papel, hojalata & cráneos de azúcar dulce, a pinata, food, and Latin music for dancing! Mayor Enrique Fernandez will be our guest speaker to kick-off the celebration! The Library's Teen Advisory Board is hosting and thank you to Friends of the Woodland Library for sponsoring this event. ¡Celebración nacional de la herencia hispana!
