On 11-23-2012 Officers responded to a shots fired call in the 1300 block of Colfax Dr. in Woodland. The victim's mother reported that her son had been in the front yard of the residence with friends and other family members when an unknown suspect ran up on them and began firing a pistol. The victim was shot once in the chest and he sustained non-life threatening injuries.
The victim was brought by private vehicle to Woodland Memorial Hospital. The victim was later transported to UCD Medical Center for further treatement and his condition was not known at the time of this report.
