On 12-31-12, at approx. 6:00 pm, Woodland Police Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Muir Circle regarding a report of residence being shot into. When officers arrived on scen they located one round that entered through the front wall of the house into the kitchen. Two additional rounds were located in the side of a vehicle parked in front of the residence.
The house was occupied, but no one was struck by the rounds.
At this time there is no suspect description. It is unknown if there were any gang ties, or what the motivation for this crime was. The investigation has been forwarded to the Woodland Police Department Investiagations Unit.
