|Incident Reported: On 3-13-2013 at approximately 1550 p.m. Woodland Fire Department personnel were dispatched to a reported structure fire at 164 Main St. (Vacant Ruby Tuesday's Building) |
Incident found on arrival: The first arriving unit reported a large fire to the rear of the structure extending into the eves and roof area. Crews quickly extinguished the fire on the exterior of the structure. Crews also extinguished fire that extended into the eve and roof /attic area over the kitchen. Extensive overhaul was completed on the rear of the structure in the wall and roof areas. Fire and smoke damage was contained to the rear (kitchen area) of the occupancy.
The Incident went to a second alarm. 10 total units responded to this incident including 6 units from Woodland, 2 UCD, 1 City of Davis, and 1 West Sacramento.The Fire Cause is still under investigation at the time of this report. No injuries were reported. The dollar loss is estimated at $100,000. Estimated property value saved is $300,000.
