|On the 10th of April 2013 at 10:24 hrs, Woodland Police Department officers were dispatched to the 100 block of W Beamer St for a report of a stabbing that had just occurred. Upon arrival, Officers found a 26 year old Woodland resident suffering from a single stab wound to his right tricep.|
After AMR paramedics dressed his wound, the victim told Officers that he was standing in front of his house on the front yard, when a group of 5 to 6 Hispanic male adults ran towards him yelling obscenities. The group ran at him from the area of the student parking lot of Woodland High School.
The victim said that he turned to run back to his home and discovered he had been stabbed in the arm as he reached his house. The victim's assailants all fled back to the student parking lot and left in a dark colored pick-up truck.
The victim later drove himself to Woodland Memorial Hospital for treatment of a non-life threatening stab wound.
This incident is still under investigation and anybody with information is encouraged to call the Woodland Police Department.
