On Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at approximately 11:15 AM, Woodland police officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of East Gum Avenue for a vehicle that had crashed into a house.  The resident reported the vehicle and driver fled westbound on East Gum Avenue.

Through investigation officers learned the collision was intentionally caused by the driver.  Woodland police officers located the vehicle and its driver stopped southbound on State Route 113 about three miles south of Woodland.

Woodland police officers arrested 18-year-old Davis resident Anze Yu for vandalism over $400.  He was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Yolo County Jail.  No one was injured in this incident.  The damage to the house and vehicles in its garage was estimated at $16000.00.
