Mario Lopez

The city of Woodland has experienced a large number of residential and vehicle burglaries over the last few months. From November to January there were more than 150. Many items were stolen in these burglaries to include home electronics, vehicle electronics, money, jewelry, tools and firearms. The responsible parties for many of these burglaries were identified. The Woodland Police Department arrested a number of these suspects at the end of January during a massive search warrant operation with the assistance of other law enforcement agencies in Yolo County. As well as making arrests we recovered a lot of property which will be returned to the victims in time. After making these arrests the burglaries dropped to less than 30 in February but there are still outstanding suspects. One of the suspects, Mario Lopez, has been eluding us. We are actively searching for Mario Lopez and are asking for the public’s help with locating him. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Mario Lopez. He is to be considered armed and dangerous. Do not contact him but please call the Woodland Police Department at 530-666-2411 or 530-661-7800 to report this information.
