Caldecott Medal Books

The Caldecott Medal, established in 1938, is presented annually by the Association for Library Service to Children, a division of the American Library Association, to honor the illustrator of the most distinguished American picture book for children published during the preceding year. The award is named for Randolph Caldecott (1846-1886), English artist and illustrator.

Listed by illustrator are the Caldecott Medal winning books. The Woodland Public Library's call number follows the name of the book. If the illustrator is not the author, the author's name is given after the title.
