2017 Bulky Waste Drop-Off & Recycling Event

Get rid of that bulky waste that's been sitting in your garage or backyard for FREE on Saturday, April 8th from 8 am to 2 pm at the Yolo County Fairgrounds (use Gibson Rd entrance). Tell your friends and family!

ACCEPTED ITEMS: appliances, scrap metal, wood waste, rigid plastics (laundry baskets, buckets, outdoor furniture, etc.), cardboard, electronic waste, mattresses, sofas, carpet or anything else that you cannot donate or fit into your cart.

NOT ACCEPTED: tires, paint, CFLs, oil, batteries or any other type of hazardous waste.

Household hazardous waste can be taken to the landfill for free recycling during the HHW Days open every Friday and Saturday from 7:30 am - 3:30 pm.

PAPER SHREDDING: No preparation neccesary. Staples and clips OK. Please put paper in boxes, bags or paper sacks. 20 box limit per household.

REUSE AREA: items brought to the event that are still usable will be placed in a reuse section for residents to take for free. First come, first serve. Reuse area will close at 1:30 pm.

Open to all Woodland residents within city limits. No commercial use allowed. No flatbed trucks or U-Hauls.
