Point-in-Time Count

Every two years, Yolo County conducts a count of the number of people experiencing homelessness. This count is far from perfect - methodology varies within and across communities, it represents only one point in January, it often fails to account for many unsheltered and at-risk youth, and more - but it represents the only measure that enumerates people experiencing unsheltered homelessness in addition to those who are sheltered.
