HCP Implementation Advisory Committee

Yolo County and the Yolo Habitat Conservancy (Conservancy) are currently accepting applications for the Yolo Habitat Conservation Plan (HCP)/Natural Community Conservation Plan (NCCP) Implementation Advisory Committee.

The Implementation Advisory Committee will advise the Conservancy on the development and management of the reserve system of conserved properties. The Yolo HCP/NCCP conservation strategy involves integrating the many existing protected lands with newly protected lands to ensure that the conservation commitments by acre for both natural communities and species listed in the Yolo HCP/NCCP are met over the course of the plan’s implementation.

The Committee will be comprised of nine members: one individual appointed from each of the four cities and the County; three individuals representing agricultural and wildlife conservation organizations appointed by the Conservancy Board; and one individual appointed by the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation. The nine-member Committee will be supported by a non-voting staff liaison from each of the five-member agency jurisdictions and one from the University of California, Davis. Members will serve for two-year terms.

Applications will be accepted until the committee is filled. To apply for the Implementation Advisory Committee, please click here and complete the application.
