Name a New Park in Woodland

The City of Woodland recognizes people who have made significant contributions to the Woodland community by naming parks in their honor. The naming of City-owned facilities benefits the residents of the City by creating a stronger sense of community and communicating a sense of what the community values.

The City of Woodland Parks & Recreation Commission seeks nominations for the naming of a new park during the month of April. This new park will be located south of the County Fair Mall and north of the Community Center, in the subdivision that is currently being constructed by Lennar Homes. The approximate 1.5 acre park will include a play area with a playground for 2-12 year olds, a shade structure with picnic tables, and grass for open play. It is anticipated to be open at the end of the year.
