Now accepting Campership applications for summer programs.  

Scholarships (known as "camperships") will be available for the following summer programs Summertime Fun Club, Swim Lessons, Summer Teen Pack, Woodland Wreckers, and Lifeguard Training. Being a recipient of a campership results in a substantial fee reduction in program fees.  Camperships are available to families that meet a low-income requirement. 

Campership Criteria

Resident of Woodland
The camperships household must reside within the Woodland city limits. This excludes all PO Boxes, county road addresses, or non-Woodland addresses.

Income Qualification
Use the chart below to see if you meet the income requirementsQualified applicants will be in the classification of "Low Income" or below. This chart uses HUD’s 2023 Income limits for Yolo County.  Use the gross income for the entire household. Verification of income that your family qualifies for the campership is required and can't be substituted for any other documentation. 

Submit copies of 2023 tax submission 1040 (not W2 or a pay stub).

When to Submit Campership Application
Campership applications for summer programs will be accepted starting on February 1, 2024.  Applications will not be accepted sooner.

How to submit Campership Application
Complete the online application (available soon) and submit via online. Paper copies of the application will be available upon request. 

All requested information must be submitted with the application. Any missing information may result in a delay in application screening and/or denial of the application.
