Woodland Senior Resource Fair Scheduled for May 26

The City of Woodland invites anyone interested in programs and services available to older adults to a Senior Resource Fair on Thursday, May 26 from 9 AM - 12 PM at the Woodland Community & Senior Center at 2001 East Street. This event is free and open to all.

More than 50 area organizations will attend to answer questions and share materials, covering topics including:

  • Health care
  • Assisted living facilities
  • In-home support services
  • Health and fitness
  • Adaptive devices
  • Legal and tax assistance
  • Support groups
  • Senior travel, including a trip presentation at 11 AM
  • Volunteerism
  • Repairs and chores
  • Social services
  • …and more

The Woodland Senior Center is a designated focal point of services for older adults, including nutrition, recreation, education, transportation, art, health, support groups, and more. Programs highlight healthy aging, social services, and feature many socialization opportunities. 

The Woodland Senior Center is open Monday through Friday from 8 AM - 3 PM. Please contact the Woodland Senior Center Welcome Desk at (530) 661-2001 for more information.
