City Seeks Volunteers to Serve on Boards & Commissions

The City of Woodland welcomes and seeks residents to serve on its boards and commissions.

City boards and commissions are a vital component of effective citizen engagement. Members provide input on key issues and promote representation of our diverse community. Appointments are for three or four year terms depending on the advisory body.

Candidates are invited to apply for positions in each of the city’s seven advisory bodies:

Boards

Library Board and Personnel Board

Commissions: 

Commission on Aging, Manufactured Homes Fair Practices Commission, Parks and Recreation Commission Planning Commission

Committees:

Sustainability Advisory Committee

All positions are voluntary and appointed by the City Council. The time commitment for each board or commission varies, with some meeting on a regular schedule while others meet on an on-call basis.

  • APPOINTMENT:   June 20, 2023 Council Meeting
  • APPOINTMENT EFFECTIVE:  July 1, 2023
