Movies on Main Street

Come to Historic Downtown Woodland on Friday, October 13 for Movies on Main Street. Bring the entire family out for the final movie of the City’s Movie Series showing Disney Pixar’s 2022 release of Lightyear. 

This free family-friendly event is loaded with fun for everyone.  The event kicks off in Heritage Plaza at 5:30 pm with free activities including bounce houses and Rec2Go hosting the kids’ zone with games and, crafts to keep kids busy until show time.  

Shortly after sundown, Disney Pixar’s 2022 release of Lightyear will be shown. Enjoy watching the movie on a giant 30-foot movie screen under the stars on Main Street, Woodland. Lightyear synopsis: A prequel to the Toy Story series, legendary space ranger Buzz Lightyear embarks on an intergalactic adventure of his career.

Don’t forget to bring a low-back chair, blanket, or pillow to sit on the street. Be sure to arrive early to find the best spot on Main Street to watch the movie.  Make it a dinner and movie night!  Come early to Downtown Woodland and find dinner at one of the main downtown restaurants on Main Street. Popcorn, candy, snacks, and drinks will also be available for purchase in Heritage Plaza.  

Movies on Main Street is seeking partners, groups, and businesses who provide youth-oriented services within Woodland.  The group must be willing to provide a free activity during the event from 5:30-7:30 pm.   Please contact the Woodland CSD at (530) 661-2000 or email WoodlandCSD@cityofwoodland.org for more information about how to participate as a Movies on Main Street vendor.
