Movies on Main Street Returns on Friday, October 13

Come to Historic Downtown Woodland on Friday, October 13 for Movies on Main Street! Bring the entire family out for Disney Pixar’s Lightyear, the final film of the City’s Movie Series.

This free family-friendly event is loaded with fun for everyone. The event kicks off in Heritage Plaza at 5:30 PM with activities including bounce houses, the Rec2Go kids zone, and crafts to keep kids busy until show time. Shortly after sundown, Lightyear will begin and attendees can enjoy watching the movie on a giant 30-foot movie screen under the stars. A prequel to the Toy Story series, Lightyear follows legendary space ranger Buzz Lightyear as he embarks on an intergalactic adventure.

Don’t forget to bring a low-back chair, blanket, or pillow to sit on the street. Be sure to arrive early to find the best spot to watch the movie. The City encourages Woodlanders to visit one of the many downtown restaurants, boutiques, and retail options before the film. Popcorn, candy, snacks, and drinks will also be available for purchase in Heritage Plaza.
